With the coldest months setting in, The T-Shirt Deli is thrilled to partner with the Indigo Girls to raise money for several organizations involved in the Hurricane Helene recovery effort. 

The Grammy award-winning INDIGO GIRLS, comprising Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, have made a significant impact on the folk-rock music scene with their distinctive harmonies and thoughtful songwriting. Their musical journey spans over 35 years, during which they have consistently evolved their sound while maintaining their core identity.

All proceeds from the sale of this limited edition T-shirt will be split among these three organizations:


Their immediate focus has been on critical necessities like food, water, and healthcare for survival and stability. As winter hits, Beloved Ashville is working to secure warm and safe housing for the displaced. Looking further ahead, recovery from the vast destruction will be a large-scale investment over several years, believing they can unite to rebuild a community that embodies home, health, equity, and opportunity for all.


Since Helene hit, five emergency animal shelters have been set up, with more to come. The Asheville Humane Society has distributed over 100,000 Pounds of pet food alone. That is double what they typically distribute in one year, and this is just in two months. Shelter and medical care are provided for animals displaced by the hurricane while helping to reunite them with their owners or finding them new forever homes.


Since the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, Poder Emma has provided disaster relief by delivering food and water directly to over 40,000 people. As they continue to provide the essentials, their focus will widen to include repair and recovery for community members in need.
